In the first two weekends of September, I opened my studio again @mewsroadstudios for Coastal Currents where I showcased a new collection of paintings and works in progress. Titled ‘A Kwyet Place’, it reflects my state of mind, my need for solace and quiet in the still of my studio. Working intuitively, I allow old dreams, surreal landscapes, memories and emotions to surface. For those that were not able to view these in the flesh, you will now be able to view and purchase them in my shop.

Morokoth Fournier des Corats is an artist and freelance illustrator working from her home in sunny Hastings, East Sussex.

Being by the sea, her art practice is deeply inspired by nature, places and stories often drawing from her collection of objects foraged from the beach and her travels.
