Coastal Currents

Handpainted on watercolour paper, I created a larger concertina piece of the Gold Rush comic displayed in Africolab as part of a group show (We Are Here) for Coastal Currents arts festival.

Other participating artists included Khadija Khan and Tatenda Mikey. This was displayed alongside small limited edition handmade books lovingly constructed together, fabric wrapped inside its own ultramarine blue box.

I also tied my exhibition in with the events calendar for the first ESEA heritage month created by the British East and Southeast Asian Network (BESEA.N).
